A Nashville Moment with Shopbop
We kicked off Shopbop’s Nashville pop-up the way we love most, gathered around a table with friends, partners, and our community, where conversation lingered and the evening unfolded with ease. In celebration of 20 years of Hunter Bell, we co-hosted an intimate dinner that felt nostalgic, joyful, and filled with the kind of moments that remind us why we started.
The Venue
The evening took place at Bad Idea, one of Nashville’s most talked-about restaurants, set inside a beautifully converted church in East Nashville. The space felt both dramatic and inviting, creating a warm, intimate backdrop that set the tone for a night centered around connection and conversation.
The Guests
We welcomed a thoughtful group of brand friends, new and old, a reflection of the past 20 years of HB. Around the table were women who have been part of the story since the very beginning, alongside those just discovering the brand today.
There were full-circle moments woven throughout the evening. Hannah Brown, who first discovered HB over a decade ago at Effie’s in Tuscaloosa, joined us, a sweet reminder of how long the brand has been part of so many wardrobes and lives. Coco McLarty, who has known Hunter since her Hunter Dixon days, brought a sense of history that stretches back even further, while Jen Sohr, with her effortless style, has long been such a natural and steady friend of the brand.
It was a table filled with familiar faces, new connections, and shared memories, a true reflection of 20 years of Hunter Bell and the community that has grown with us along the way.

Guests arrived to wine and canapés, easing into the evening before making their way upstairs. Along the table, elements of our Coastal Conversation print appeared in playful ways, shaping the place settings and place cards, while a soft, sun-washed palette carried through the florals.
During dinner, Hunter shared reflections from the past 20 years. The evening closed with a surprise anniversary cake and a small send-off for each guest, a 20-year anniversary scarf, sardine candles, and a bag of Dune Shack candy to take home.
