Your platform has always encouraged women to express themselves through style. What does that mean to you now?

Right now, it feels less about dressing up every day and more about being myself. Style, to me, isn’t about keeping up with trends or performing all the time. Today it’s about understanding what feels like you and what fits your lifestyle. I think consumers are craving that more than ever: less trends, more identity. The most compelling style icons to me are people who you can truly feel behind the screen - women who evolve!

Living somewhere warm, summer style feels like second nature to you. What does this summer look like 

for your life day-to-day?

I wear mostly breathable fabrics during the summer, especially here in South Florida where temperatures get pretty high. My pieces also need to move with me throughout the day: from chasing my daughter to dinner. I love structure too, like in a Hunter Bell midi skirt. It’s put together yet relaxed, depending on how you style it: with an oversized t-shirt and flip-flops or kitten heels.

What would you tell your younger self about personal style and self-expression?

I would tell her to stop caring about what other people think, be honest with yourself, and be original. So cliche, I know, but it takes a long time for women to embrace their truest selves. At least for me! I believe the more you trust your instincts, the easier it gets, even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else, and the more distinct your point of view becomes over time.

There’s something special about growing with a brand over time. What has that experience 

felt like for you with Hunter Bell?

Working with Hunter Bell has always felt really organic. I love their Houston roots (I grew up there), and I’ve loved watching how the brand has evolved over time. It’s changed in all the right ways, but the point of view still feels the same, which I relate to a lot. I’ve grown and my life looks different now, but at the core, my perspective hasn’t changed. We’ve both adapted in our own ways—me becoming a mom, them growing as a brand—and it makes it feel like a real partnership, not just a one-off moment.
